Focus areas: Adventure, arts, costume play, crafts, games, gardening, history, mystery, science and STEAM, wildlife. Unplug and join us for a week of historical adventure at Schneider Haus! Step away from screens and explore the past in an immersive experience. We provide a series engaging activities that take place outside and indoors. Time Travellers will enjoy costume play and activities from different time periods! Programming provides a mix of free and structured playtime to allow imaginations to grow. Location: Ken Seiling Waterloo Region Museum & Doon Heritage Village, 10 Huron Rd, Kitchener, ON N2P 2R7 Details: Group size 12 Children. Focus areas: Adventure, arts, costume play, crafts, games, gardening, farming, fishing, history, mystery, science (STEAM) and domestic animals. Join us for a week of adventure at Ken Seiling Waterloo Region Museum and Doon Heritage Village! Unplug and experience a taste of life in 1914 through an immersive experience. We offer activities to engage children outdoors and inside. Period costume play adds excitement as children explore our historic village and enjoy unique learning experiences. Programing provides a mix of free and structured play, allowing imaginations to grow. Children will bake, build, dig, discover, dress-up, farm, fish, play and make new friends. Costume provided.
