Region of Waterloo Museums offer week-long summer day camps, march break camps and Professional Development Day camps throughout the year. Each site offers engaging hands on activities for campers ages 5-12. Check back often for registration updates.

Week-Long Summer Day Camps

Exploration Week-Long Day Camp: Ages 8 to 11
Camp Dates: July 4 – 8 and August 22 - 26

Location: Schneider Haus, 466 Queen St S, Kitchener, ON N2G 1W7

Details: Group size 12 children.
Must bring lunch each day. Snacks provided.
Drop-off 8:30-9 a.m. / Pick-up 4-4:30 p.m.
Cost $210 per camper / per week (HST exempt).

Focus areas: Adventure, arts, crafts, games, gardening, history, mystery, science (STEAM) and wildlife.

Unplug and join us for a week of discovery and exploration at Schneider Haus!
Step away from screens and explore our historical house museum. We provide a series engaging activities that take place outside and indoors. Our historical setting creates a unique environment for children to have fun! Programming provides a mix of free and structured play allowing children to explore, bake, build, dig, discover, play and make new friends. Activities modified for each age group.

Discovery Week-Long Day Camp: Ages 5-7
Camp Dates: July 11-15, 25-29 (sold out) and August 8-12 (sold out)

Camp Dates: July 18-22 and August 1-5, 15-19

Must bring lunch each day Monday to Thursday. Snacks provided.
Friday lunch will be made onsite.
Drop-off 8:30-9 a.m. / Pick-up 4-4:30 p.m.
Cost $210 per camper / per week (HST exempt).

Focus areas: Adventure, arts, costume play, crafts, games, gardening, history, mystery, science and STEAM, wildlife.

Step away from screens and explore the past in an immersive experience. We provide a series engaging activities that take place outside and indoors. Time Travellers will enjoy costume play and activities from different time periods! Programming provides a mix of free and structured playtime to allow imaginations to grow. Children will bake, build, dig, dress-up, discover, play and make new friends. Costume provided.

Adventures in Time Week-Long Day Camp: Ages 7-9 and 10-12
Camp Dates: July 4-8, 11-15, 18-22, 25-29 and August 1-5, 8-12, 15-19, 22-26

Location: Ken Seiling Waterloo Region Museum & Doon Heritage Village, 10 Huron Rd, Kitchener, ON N2P 2R7

Details: Group size 12 Children.
Must bring lunch each day.
Drop-off 8:30-9 a.m. / Pick-up 4-4:30 p.m. 
Cost $210 per camper / per week (HST exempt).

Focus areas: Adventure, arts, costume play, crafts, games, gardening, farming, fishing, history, mystery, science (STEAM) and domestic animals.

Join us for a week of adventure at Ken Seiling Waterloo Region Museum and Doon Heritage Village!  

Unplug and experience a taste of life in 1914 through an immersive experience. We offer activities to engage children outdoors and inside. Period costume play adds excitement as children explore our historic village and enjoy unique learning experiences. Programing provides a mix of free and structured play, allowing imaginations to grow. Children will bake, build, dig, discover, dress-up, farm, fish, play and make new friends. Costume provided.

Looking for something fun for the kids during PD Days? Region of Waterloo Museums offer PD Day camps in a variety of topics to coincide with Waterloo Region District School Board PD Days.
