Region of Waterloo Museums offer summer day camps, march break camps and PD Day camps at various times throughout the year. Each of our sites have engaging and hands on activities for campers of all ages. Check back often for registration updates.

 Summer Day Camps

Summer Day Camps take place in July and August. All camps will comply with Provincial and Public Health guidelines that ensure a safe experience for all campers. A limited number of Summer Day Camps are now available for purchase. Cost for 5-day camp is $210 (including taxes & Eventbrite fees).

Summer Day Camps at Ken Seiling Waterloo Region Museum 

Our popular summer camps are back! Join us for an engaging blend of arts and crafts, games, outdoor play, and a variety of 'Day in the Life' activities. Our dedicated staff will do all they can to make this summer camp fun, safe, and memorable.

The health and safety of campers and staff is of paramount importance and protocols are in place that are in adherence with the guidelines established by the Province of Ontario, including campers being divided into separate cohorts of 8 children, physical distancing and facility cleaning.

Summer Day Camps at Schneider Haus National Historic Site 

Campers will experience a week of fun-filled outdoor and indoor activities. Let your child take part in an engaging and immersive week of games, crafts and gardening. COVID-19 Procedures:

The health and safety of campers and staff is of paramount importance and protocols will be in place that are in adherence with the guidelines established by the Province of Ontario, including campers being divided into separate cohorts of 8 children, physical distancing and facility cleaning.  Summer Day Camps take place in July and August. All camps will comply with Provincial and Public Health guidelines that ensure a safe experience for all campers.

COVID-protocols will be in place, based upon those outlined by provincial guidelines and those developed by the Region of Waterloo, Public Health.

The Registration Process:

  • For member access to registration on April 14, please have your 8-digit membership number ready (found under the barcode on the back of the card.  This code can be entered as the access code).  Each access code may be used a maximum of 3 times, and cannot be redeemed by non-members.
  • You can register up to three (3) campers in one purchase.
  • The Region of Waterloo Museums are currently closed to the public, and staff are working remotely at this time.  Memberships may be purchased by calling 519-748-1914 between the hours of 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on April 12 and 13, as staff will be available during these hours to answer questions.  Memberships are not available for sale on Eventbrite, and cannot be sold on the actual registration dates.
  • In order to utilize the access code, memberships must be purchased prior to April 13 at 4 p.m.
  • Please note:  membership does not guarantee spots will be available.
  • If you already have the Eventbrite event page loaded prior to 9:30 a.m. on the day of purchase, please remember to refresh your browser at 9:30 a.m. when registration opens.
    • Once the items have been added to your cart, you’ll have 25 minutes to complete the purchase.

What you need to have ready:

  • Camper Information:  birthdate, emergency contact info (name & phone number), allergies, special needs, approved adults for pick-up/ drop-off. These are mandatory fields to complete in Eventbrite.  If any of the information changes prior to the camp dates, edits can be made after the registration process (and payment) has been completed.
March Break Camps

Visiting Cousin’s March Break Camp at Schneider Haus (ages 7 to 12)
March Break, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
$195 per child. Advance registration required. 10 percent member discount.
Our Visiting Cousins will be ‘snowed in’ taking part in activities the Schneider children would have enjoyed! 

PD Day Camps 
Looking for something fun for the kids during PD Days? Region of Waterloo Museums offer PD Day camps in a variety of topics to coincide with Waterloo Region District School Board PD Days with some dates provided for Waterloo Region Catholic District School Board PD Days. Check back often for upcoming dates and times. PD Day Camps must be registered in advance.
