Region of Waterloo Museums offer week-long summer day camps, march break camps and Professional Development Day camps throughout the year. Ken Seiling Waterloo Region Museum Camps
Register for one of our exciting camps. Made for ages 5 to 12, our engaging staff will keep campers busy with activities, games, crafts and more. Activities for our camps will take place indoors and outdoors, so please dress for the weather. Campers will need to bring their own lunch and two snacks.

PD Day Camps
Join us for an action-packed day at the Ken Seiling Waterloo Region Museum! Each day will be a mix of outdoor play, games, STEAM experiments, and crafts, as well as exclusive access to our galleries! Make friends, create memories, and have fun!
Age range: 5 to 12 years old
Times: Drop off: 8:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. & Pick up: 4:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Cost: $50 per day per child (plus Eventbrite fees, no HST). No refunds, exchanges considered on a case-by-case basis
Summer Camps

Make friends, create memories, and have fun!

McDougall Cottage Historic Site Camps
Spend a fun day in our cozy cottage by the Grand.

Schneider Haus National Historic Site Camps
No one does camp like Schneider Haus. Join us for PD Day Camps and Summer Camps that feature a mix of indoor and outdoor play.

PD Day Camps
Our popular PD Day camps are back! Join us for a day of engaging activities, with plenty of time outdoors! Programming provides a mix of free and structured play, allowing children to explore, create, build, dig, discover, and make new friends. Campers will need to bring their own lunch and two snacks. Please ensure your child is dressed for the unpredictable spring weather!
Details: Group size 12 children.
Times: Drop-off 8:30-9 a.m. / Pick-up 4-4:30 p.m.
Cost: $50 plus HST per person per day (10% discount for Museum Members) No Refunds, Exchanges considered on Case by Case basis.
Summer Camps
Spend your summer at Schneider Haus! Our flexible programming provides a mix of free and structured play; allowing children to discover new interests, make new friends, and play in a safe environment! Campers will need to bring their own lunch and two snacks.
Details: Group size 12 children.
Times: Drop-off 8:30-9 a.m. / Pick-up 4-4:30 p.m.

Looking for a fun way to start your kids' summer vacation? Look no further than Schneider Haus’s Summer kick off camp! Join us June 29th, or 30th to ring in the beginning of summer vacation. Our day camp programming provides a mix of free and structured play allowing children to explore, build, dig, discover, play and make new friends.

Spark your child’s creativity and imagination with Schneider Haus’ Camp Spark! Our campers make summer magic with activities like creating potions, wand making and wishing on our wishing tree!

Date: July 10-14, July 31-August 4, and August 21-25
Cost: $210 per camper per week
Calling all secret agents! Artifacts keep disappearing from our collection and it’s up to you to figure out where they are! Each day our campers will experience a top secret briefing on a missing artifact that they will locate by solving puzzles with their team! As our final challenge of the week, campers will have 1 hour to work together to solve our History Mysteries escape room and solve this case once and for all! In addition to puzzles and problem solving, campers will have the week to explore our historic site and participate in fun crafts like slime making, tie dye, clay sculpting and more!
