Doon Heritage Village

Water mains, electricity lines, and telephone/fibre cables will be replaced throughout Doon Heritage Village. Water mains, electricity lines, and telephone/fibre cables have been replaced at the Village from 2023 through 2025. Additional capital improvements are also underway. The historic buildings will remain closed to the public through 2025, however areas of the Village will be utilized for school programs and special events. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in spring 2026!

Admission includes access to the museum galleries.

  • Student (ages 13-17 and/or with student ID) - $8
  • Children (ages 5 to 12) - $6
  • Children ages 4 and under - Free
  • Family (2 adults & dependent children) - $29

McDougall Cottage Historic Site

Note: McDougall Cottage reopens for 2025 on February 21

Regular Business Hours: Friday to Sunday 12 to 4 p.m. 

Summer Hours: June - Friday to Sunday 12 to 5 p.m.

July & August - Friday to Monday 12 to 5 p.m.

Winter 2025/26 Closure: McDougall Cottage closes for the season on December 14.
